Hello,

To improve our DNS monitoring without impacting cache behavior, we would like to monitor wildcard domains such as *.dnscheck.co.

Currently, the DNS target field does not support wildcard entries. Could you consider adding this functionality in a future release?

Repost my comment here to avoid someone who runs into a wrong direction.

Actually good question. Also, DNS' hostname should not accept IP addresses, but the current regex accepts it.

I am thinking maybe we can migrate it to validator for DNS type.
validator.isFQDN() with allow_wildcard: true
