The cookie banner appears twice

Dear community,

I have set up a blog on which I do not use any cookies other than HyvorTalk. I have activated the plugin for HyvorTalk in Publii and selected the following in the options for the cookie banner there:

In the site settings, I first activated the normal cookie banner:

In the advanced banner, I selected the following options:

The cookie groups are set as follows:

My problem now is that visitors to the site see two banners: first, the basic banner, which they can accept or reject. Here, too, visitors can agree to or reject the display of comments.

However, once they have made their selection or saved their settings, the cookie banner reappears when they click on a post.

My question is: What can I do to ensure that the cookie banner is only displayed once?

I am unable to reproduce your issue - for me it is working fine. Maybe you have disabled cookies or localStorage under your browser settings?

just checked your site and accepted cookies and it didn't show again, so add another set of eyes confirming it works fine : )

I do confirm. No 2nd cookie banner here.

Thank you very much for your help! The problem was indeed caused by the many extensions in my browser.
